Direct trading model is based on app developers mutual exchange of ads to advertise their apps. In a nutshell it works the following way – the moment one app in the network generates app install for another app it advertises, it gets credit to get an install from that other app it’s just generated an install for. Using this model, app developers can establish their own rules and terms for how much they charge for such ad exchange if anything and what mutual traffic they’re expecting from each other.
