Because TikTok is massive! In terms of the actual platform itself, it has over 800 million monthly active users and in terms of downloads it’s recieved over 1.5 billion downloads. The key thing about TikTok is its a very engaging platform, users spend around 45 minutes on average per day.
What are the key benefits of TikTok compared to other social media networks?
Tiktok is a creator focused platform unlike Instagram where it’s all about sharing, liking and commenting. TikTok is all about the creator and this is why you see some of the most engaging content on the internet on this platform.
TikTok has a really unsaturated audience especially in comparison to Instagram and the the platform has unlimited scalability because anyone can go viral. The nature of the platform is that it’s all about content so any creator even if you have 0 followers can go viral if the content is good enough.
