Who are the Top App Developers India 2015?

Alberto Furlan

In App Development. November 4, 2015

India’s mobile app market is booming, with more than 26.5 million smartphones shipped to the subcontinent in the second quarter of 2015, an increase of 44% from 18.4 million during the same period in 2014.

With that kind of boom in the market, the field is ripe for companies to launch their business into the mobile sphere, whether they be local or international. As with all markets however, especially one as varied as India, good local knowledge is required, and that is why we’ve researched the best app development agencies across the country.

We’ve gone for a mix of competencies, expertise and budget-levels here, with companies who have worked both for large enterprises and others who concentrate more on SMEs. All of them were chosen for being extremely competent in a variety of platforms and applying the best cutting edge technology, as well as having an office on Indian soil.

The list below is not a ranking, it is simply our favourite app development agencies in India. We’ve collated the following data on them:

  • Main Activity: The main avenues of activity of the company, such as straight-up coding, UX/UI design, branding and others.
  • Industry Focus: Previous experience with companies and the sectors in which they operate.
  • Client Size: The size of the companies they usually deal with
  • Company Size: So you know how many people you’ll be dealing with
  • Key Clients: The biggest and best-known clients of the developer, generally large enterprises.
  • Avg. Hourly Rate: A range of rates you might expect to pay for development of your app and other services

Here is the list, in no particular order.
