AirBnB and dating app Bumble have launched a campaign that aims to get people stuck indoors during the coronavirus lockdowns into a virtual dating experience.
Around 100 Bumble users will be selected to join virtual first dates as part of the new Bumble campaign.
The experiences include wine tastings, cooking lessons, virtual tours, and escape rooms.
Couples who met virtually via video chat or Bumble’s call function can join online date nights at a secret Amsterdam jazz club or watch another live show.
The update follows Bumble’s launch of various dating tools including a badge that users can display on their profile.
This helps them to identify other matches happy to date virtually.
US Bumble users can now join to win one of the virtual dates.
