Baidu adds DU+ Plan in India
It offers developers 100% of their revenues from mobile ad campaigns via Baidu’s DU Ad Platform. The initiative aims to support business growth for app developers but also the mobile ecosystem in emerging markets across the globe.
Tim Yang, General Manager of Baidu India, says:
“The growth of mobile advertising in India is astounding. With the DU+ Plan, developers will be able to experience first-hand how they can capitalize on that growth through our ad platform.”
India is one of the fastest growing markets for digital advertising on mobile devices. Smartphone users in the country are to reach 651m by 2019, up from 140m in 2014.
The DU Ad Platform offers targeted ad options as well as a series of monetization solutions.
DU Ad Platform features
Baidu has powered its platform based on big data analysis on usage patterns of over 1.6bn app consumers. The data was then used to create its own bid-sorting algorithm to help optimize ad monetization.
The company adds that the DU Ad Platform also offers a variety of ad solutions through Android marketplace MoboMarket.
