PubMatic announces new hires for global mobile product technology expansions

PubMatic, the automation solutions company, has just announced a few new key hires for its offices in the US, EMEA and APAC regions. The appointments include Philip Buxton who joins the EMEA location as VP of International Marketing to drive PubMatic’s global expansion strategy and help innovate its technology throughout 2017.

Buxton will be overseeing the company’s global marketing efforts and work closely with the product marketing and communications teams to ensure consistency across its branding in the EMEA and APAC regions. He joins PubMatic from marketing news source The Drum where he held the position of Chief Marketing Office. All in all, he has 20 years of digital marketing experience and will be operation out of PubMatic’s London office.
In addition, PubMatic has announced the appointments of Nigel Kwan as Director of Marketing for APAC, Osbaldo Franco, Director of Marketing Research, and Imelda Suriato as Creative Services Director.

Nigel Kwan comes to PubMatic from Amobee, where he was VP of Marketing for APAC. He has also held leadership roles at advertising company Weve and has over 15 years of experience within the ad industry. Kwan will be overseeing PubMatic’s marketing programmes in tight collaboration with EMEA and US marketing teams. He joins APAC VP Jason Barnes at the firm’s Singapore office.
PubMatic has also added to its New York City office with Osbaldo Franco, who has previously held a research analyst post at eMarketer where he focused on Latin America. As Director of Marketing Research at the company, he will be driving research efforts for initiatives such as PubMatic’s Quarterly Mobile Index.
Meanwhile, Imelda Suriato, the award-winning creative with a digital and tech background, joins the company to manage and develop its overall creative execution for a unified brand identity. Suriato helped co-create the Webby Award-winning cancer network and has delivered innovative strategies for luxury brands Lexus, Revlon and Verizon Wireless.
