Instagram has launched new stickers for businesses to boost their Stories and posts on the app.
The stickers can be used to share news one fundraisers, products and gift cards.
When a user taps on the sticker, they are able to make a purchase through the website.
Instagram plans to launch the feature in the US and Canada initially, but will launch it worldwide over the next few weeks.
According to a blog post “fundraisers open on Facebook to a personal fundraiser created by business owners or their supporters. Gift cards and food orders for delivery and takeout are available in the US and Canada starting today and will roll out globally in the coming weeks, and fundraisers will be coming soon.”
The move is an effort by the group to help smaller businesses overcome the challenges faced by stationary store closures during the coronavirus pandemic.
