Mobile data and analytics firm App Annie has just launched App Annie Ascend. –  a mobile performance suite for app marketing data and ad analytics.

According to the company’s CEO, Ted Krantz, the solution provides side-by-side comparison of market data and an advertiser’s analytics.

“Ascend enables publishers and brands across the globe to easily aggregate disparate advertising data sources, assemble them in to a single view and drive actionable insights,” he said.

Brands and publishers typically optimise advertising revenue and user acquisition by tapping into fragmented data sources from demand and supply advertising. They rely heavily on agencies and their own teams instead of optimising consumer value.

Ascend essentially aggregates ad data including metrics like customer acquisition costs and lifetime value to make the process less complex. And this seems to be paying off.

”Ascend takes away the burden of integrating, maintaining and constantly updating dozens of APIs, allowing us to focus on what matters: achieving our KPIs and improving our campaigns,” said Spiros Christakopoulos, Director of Marketing, Reddit. “Thanks to the critical insights Ascend provides, via it’s well designed reporting tools, it has become an essential part of our marketing analytics infrastructure. “

Jam Cities COO and President, Josh Yguado, offered further praise:

“The combination of App Annie Intelligence and Ascend helps us to manage our mobile product and advertising strategy in one place. Intelligence helps us to detect trends and events in the market, identify great partners and this helps us improve our player experience. Ascend is the best tool in the space to track and monitor ad monetization, which helps us optimize our ad monetization every day.”
