Pinterest has made it easier for advertisers and businesses to create and publish adverts using their mobile devices.
Late last week, the company rolled out Mobile Ad Tools which make it easier to manage and measure ad campaigns on the go.
The tools include simplified ad targeting options for Promoted Pins.
“We are seeing a drastic increase in engagement when Pins are promoted — up to 4,430%. Pinterest is bringing more traffic to our site than Facebook and Instagram, where we also run ads,” said Phillip Wachter, co-founder and CEO at FOUNT.
To get started is easy. Businesses simply choose a Pin option from their profile and then opt for automated or custom targeting. Ad duration and daily budgets are then set up before the ad is published.
“Over the past year, we’ve added a variety of features to help both small to medium-sized businesses and large advertisers with complex teams to more easily manage ads and collaborate on the platform. These features include multi-user access to ad accounts, campaign duplication, custom reporting and insights into their audience and their organic performance,” the company wrote in a blog post.
Additional functionalities of Mobile Ad Tools include the ability to adjust budgets and targeting, pausing ads, editing URL destinations and campaign names. Metrics such as ad spend, campaign duration, impressions, clicks and click-through rate can be viewed.
