Zoom is gearing up to launch a new events platform called OnZoom and a marketplace at its virtual Zoomtopia user conference soon.

What’s more, the video conferencing favourite is also unveiling Zapps – a platform that offers various apps by 35 select partners.

With OnZoom, users can host online events and sell tickets. Depending on the license, 100 to 1,000 people can attend these events.

This makes it a great solution for fitness studios to live stream classes or professional events like conferences.

The tickets are available via the marketplace.

But the company also unveiled a new consumer-focused product with Apps.

Apps such as Asana, Unsplash, Dropbox and Trello can now be seamlessly integrated into the Zoom experience.

It’s essentially a productivity suite. Apps can be launched as screen shares and even shared among participants.
