App Marketing

Vungle the mobile ad and app monetisation company has acquired influencer marketing platform JetFuel based out of San Francisco.

JetFuel provides tools for app developers and advertisers that make it easier to scale campaigns across its 15,000 verified influencers.

Together the company’s influencer pool has a reach of over 4 billion Instagram followers, 1.5 billion followers on TikTok and another 100 million Snapchatters.

The investment seems well-timed as the global influencer market is expected to hit $13.8 billion in 2021, up 52% from 2016.

It’s clear that marketers continue to invest more heavily into influencer campaigns year-on-year.

JetFuel is firmly established within this space and provides automated campaign management for campaigns with creators.

It charges clients based on cost-per-action and provides measurable outcomes with high ROI.

“JetFuel brings strong technical expertise and commercial success in social media and influencer marketing, creating a unique and valuable extension to our performance marketing platform that will empower not only our current customers but the next generation of digital entrepreneurs,” said Jeremy Bondy, CEO of Vungle. “We’ve been in awe of the company’s innovative, market-leading platform and the forward-thinking vision that makes the combination of Vungle and JetFuel so natural.”

Vungle hopes that the addition adds another layer to its app ad solutions for marketers to acquire high-value users and target Gen Z.
