Tinder was the top grossing dating app globally in August 2020 at more than $83.5 million in user spending.
It represents a 7.8% rise from the previous year, according to data from SensorTower.
Around 43% of Tinder’s revenue came from the US, 6% from the UK and 6% from Germany.
Bumble ranked in second spot at $22.7 million in gross revenue, representing 16.8% of year-on-year growth.
Around 77% of its revenues came from the US and 7% from the UK.
Other top grossing apps included Pairs, Badoo, MeetMe and Hinge.
SensorTower also shared data on the most downloaded streaming apps worldwide. Netflix ranked highest at 19.2 million installs with the US leading install numbers at 17%, followed by Brazil (11%).
YouTube was the second most installed streaming app worldwide at 17.7 million installs. The US saw 23% of those followed by Brazil at 8%.
Other top streaming apps by installs included Amazon Prime Video, YouTube Kids and Tencent Video.
