TikTok unveiled Lead Generation to help advertisers and businesses reach customers more easily across the app.
The first-party solution lets companies create interactions to showcase their products and services more easily.
Customers will find it easier to fill out forms and provide their information such as name, email and phone number if they’re interested in a service or product.
Lead Generation also lets businesses create customised messages that can be shared with specific target groups.
Leads are also downloadable.
TikTok has upped its privacy provisions and will display a notice to users when they submit their information that it’s being collected for advertisers.
Users can edit any pre-filled information before it is shared.
In a blog post, TikTok wrote:
“We want to support and empower businesses on TikTok with seamless opportunities to connect deeply with their customers while ensuring that our community feels comfortable and safe on the platform. This is of the utmost importance to us. As such, we’re constantly building upon our platform, policies, and suite of ad products to empower businesses to tell their story while safeguarding the information of our community and secure our platform and user’s data.”
