TikTok ad spend jumps 75x in latest ROI index

Advertising spend on TikTok jumped a whopping 75x between May to November 2019, according to brand new research by marketing analytics firm Singular.

Singular’s ROI Index is based on an analysis of $6.3 billion in ad spend for 2.2 billion app installs across 550 networks.

The popular short-form video app made by Bytedance saw phenomenal user growth of 614 million during a single year.

However, Google and Facebook still remain in the top spot for volume, adoption and ROI.

Meanwhile, Vungle, ironSource and Tapjoy prove that you don’t need to be massive to make it onto the top 10 list for ROI and retention.

Unity performed strongly for mobile games with a distribution of more than 10 billion ads per month. It featured across nine of the top leader lists prepared by Singular.

Although Amazon just posted strong ad revenue results, it’s not yet featuring across Singular’s performance lists because it doesn’t focus on mobile app installs enough.

Snap Inc and Twitter were also strong performers as in the previous years.
