The Body Coach fitness app is reported to have generated £9 million in a single week at the beginning of 2021 after thousands signed up to help them stay fit.

Launched in late December by fitness guru Joe Wicks, The Body Coach app provides a 90-day plan that is tailored to user’s fitness needs, body weight, height and health conditions.

Once signed up, users can choose between a Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced plan. They can also enter their preferred dietary requirements.

The app then creates a customised plan that includes fitness session as well as recipes for meals.

Users can also join real-time live workouts led by Wicks.

The Body Coach reportedly generated £46,000 in a single hour over Christmas when 130,000 signed up.

Training plans start at £89.99 but a discount of £69.99 saw people rush to take up the offer during the holiday season.

Wicks has been popular on both YouTube and Instagram with his workouts. The app was created together with Koto Studio.
