Mobile advertising and app monetisation company Tapjoy just launched Tapjoy Shopping – a dedicated in-app marketplace where consumers can shop from hundreds of brands and earn rewards when using their shopping apps to make a purchase.
Tapjoy Shoping brings rewarded in-app shopping to a dedicated platform that makes it easier for retailers to be discovered.
The Shopping expansion is based on Tapjoy’s Offerwall, which launched 15 years ago as a dedicated space for developers and advertisers to monetise their mobile audience. This was predominantly based on mobile gamers.
With Tapjoy Shopping, advertisers can tap into a more diversified audience based on various interest.
“Our smartphones have forever changed the way we shop — from discovering new products to engaging with brands and even making direct purchases,” said Dom Bracher, vice president of product at Tapjoy. “The new Tapjoy Shopping makes it incredibly simple and convenient for consumers to not only shop for relevant products but also get rewarded with in-app currency for their favorite games. Tapjoy Shopping makes it even easier for shoppers to browse branded products.
They just open the feature in any of the 10,000 shopping apps that belong to Tapjoy’s network and can start browsing for products.
