Reddit app installs skyrocketed to 6.6 million in January 2021, representing its highest number of downloads ever.
That marks a 43% jump over its December downloads, and a 128% rise over January 2020 levels.
The app has amassed some 122 million installs worldwide which the majority coming form the US (46%).
US users also spend the most on the app (76% of consumer spending or $5.5 million).
According to data from SensorTower, consumer spending in Reddit reached $670k in January, which was 31% higher than in December 2020.
Monthly active users were up 54% year-on-year.
It’s estimated that Reddit will continue its growth for the coming months given historic trends.
