Because more people are using their mobile devices during lockdowns, ad placements grew 70% during H1 2020. App Annie expects mobile ad spending to reach $290 billion next year, with a large share coming from m-commerce retailers.

The video app trend continues well into 2021. App Annie predicts that streaming apps like Disney+ and Co will see some strong growth next year.
