Mobile and app tech firms launch resource to help advertisers deal with IDFA

As Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) regulations take shape, a group o mobile marketing companies have joined forces to address the concerns of the industry.

The Post-IDFA Alliance which consists of market leaders Liftoff, Fyber, Chartboost, InMobi, Vungle, and Singular recently launched the ‘No IDFA? No Problem’ resource that mobile advertisers and publishers can use to help them transition the iOS 14 update.

On the website, the alliance writes:

“Apple’s upcoming iOS 14 update will give users the choice to block the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) at the app level, while requiring the industry to adopt the App Tracking Transparency framework (ATT)  and SKAdnetwork to ensure adherence to Apple’s consumer privacy guidelines.”

‘No IDFA? No Problem’ resource provides helpful videos, articles, case studies, webinars and other tools to guide mobile advertisers and app marketers through these changes.

Research has shown that although 60% of marketers plan to implement Apple’s SKAdNetwork, a whopping 87% aren’t ready for it.

The alliance also collaborates with experts to research alternatives for improvements in this area.
