Fetch, the mobile advertising agency that was acquired by Dentsu Aegis in November 2014, is about to open a New York office offering its mobile advertising expertise to advertisers and brands seeking to reach and engage more mobile consumers. The firm has its headquarters in London as well as locations in San Francisco, Germany and Hong Kong.
James Connelly, Fetch CEO, says:
“When we originally launched Fetch in San Francisco it was to be close to mobile-first businesses amongst the app economy. But we’ve seen an increase in demand from more traditional brands as today everyone is trying to crack the mobile consumer so the time is ripe for us to be opening in New York.”
The new office will be led by new hire, General Manager, Melissa Greenberg. She comes with a wealth of experience working with Fortune 500 companies and was a key player in the success at cross-network social advertising firm SHIFT.
“All the household name brands in New York are talking about mobile and have realized the need to shift their mind set in order to understand mobile users. The era of ad banners is dead; brands are looking for guidance in how to be more strategic with Mobile and not reuse desktop and broadcast techniques. Fetch has proven through its proficiency in mobile, analytical approach and FetchMe Dashboard that they truly understand the Mobile generation. We now have the opportunity to educate the New York audience and lead the mobile advertising charge on the East coast, just like Fetch has on the West Coast.”
Among Fetch’s top clients are Uber, eBay, Hotels.com and Expedia. Read more here.
