Instagram is reportedly working on a FAQ feature that users can use to get answers to their questions from business and brand accounts.
According to TechCrunch, the tech company declined to comment on the developments, but if true it could make it even easier for shoppers on the app to reach out to brands.
A screenshot of the new feature meanwhile turned up on Twitter.
It suggests that users could tap on the FAQ button at the start of a chat with a business account.
Facebook already integrates a similar function into its Messenger app that allows Pages to create their own automated responses to common user problems and queries.
The Instagram FAQ tool could also be useful for creators and influencers with a larger number of followers.
It’s not clear when the feature will be launched, but given the screenshots, it’s likely that some accounts already have access to it.
