Instagram said it was adding a new feature to save Instagram Stories as drafts.

Stories drafts lets users and brands post updates at times when they are more receptive. According to Instagram, users had requested the feature for a while.

With a growing number of influencers and brands utilising the social media app to share product updates and content, it makes sense to enable them to share content during times when they’re most receptive.

Instagram already provides a draft function for posts, but until now hasn’t allowed users to schedule their Stories.

A Story draft can be viewed as it would appear to users.

It’s not yet clear when the option will go live, but it’s likely to launch soon.
