Google is launching a range of products to help SMBs get through these hard times and adapt to the challenges ahead.
The search engine is allowing retailers to list their products on Google Shopping tabs in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for free during October.
Retailers and businesses that use the Merchant Centre and Shopping ads will get their listings added for free.
The ads and listings tend to have twice as many views and 50% more visits according to Google research of similar posts in the US.
The company is also bringing ‘Local Services Ads’ to Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.
These ads let people connect with professionals that carry a Google Guarantee badge and users can view license information and reviews from other customers.
Only when a customer contacts a professional, they are charged for the click on the ad.
Lastly, the search engine giant is rolling out Google for Small Business and Grow My Store more widely. These provide small business and marketing tools.
