Fiksu is putting its $100 million in annual revenue to good use with the announcement of a new expansion to its US headquarters.
The app marketing company has opened a new floor in its no 43,000 square foot offices in Boston’s Back Bay. Fiksu says this space will help the company in its goal to almost double the number of global employees to 500 before the end of the year.
Fiksu already has offices in London, Helsinki, Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul, as well as six offices in the US.
CEO and founder Micah Adler had this to say:
“Expanding our talented team and office space after a banner year of customer growth and accomplishments is cause for a celebration. I’m confident when we look back on this point in time, it will mark the transition from being a key player in the mobile advertising space, to being one of the key players in the advertising space in general.”
Fiksu has evolved a ‘finger in all pies’ approach, with the company offering incentivised campaigns with its own FreeMyApps network, as well as Facebook, Twitter campaigns and programmatic buying. However, the key ingredient to the company’s success is its vast data set, which it claims is based on profiles of nearly 60% of all smartphones and tablets shipped worldwide. This data, which gives insights into app user behaviours, is a very valuable resource for advertisers, who are constantly looking to fine tune their user acquisition efforts. Fiksu says its data platform was used by 41 out of the 50 top grossing apps from 2014 in order to help optimise ad spend.
