Apple has released its apps to its Mac desktops. It’s the first time that users of MacBook Pro and co will be able to run mobile apps on their Mac computers.

This is a massive boon for gamers who may have been looking to swap from their smaller screens to larger ones.

It’s being facilitated by the use of the M1 chipset for Mac, making for a seamless transition between using mobile and desktop devices.

The rollout will also be bringing additional content and videos to desktop screens.

According to some experts, it gives Apple one of the “the largest app ecosystem of any traditional PC form factor”.
