AdsOptimal, the virtual reality technology service provider, recently partnered with car maker Honda to launch the Honda Civic in Bangkok. AdsOptimal provides a 360º virtual reality platform, which lets marketers deploy engaging mobile VR campaigns. It’s certainly a solid fit for large-scale consumer marketing events such as the Honda launch.
AdsOptimal partners with Honda for Civic launch
During the event, Honda passed out Google Cardboard VR headsets to 1,000 participants which allowed them to experience the brand’s VR content through AdsOptimal’s platform.
Consumers got to test the Honda Civic in VR from the inside out, but also got to virtually test drive the car through playing a racing game.
Using their Android or iOS smartphones, participants scanned a QR code on the Google Cardboard packing box, which linked them to Honda’s 360º virtual reality content, requiring no installation of any type.
