Following the official announcement of Perfecto Mobile’s $35m funding round in early November, the company is close to opening its first office in Australia, according to new reports. There are also indications the funding has been increased to $49m, but this hasn’t been confirmed by the company at the time of writing.
Gary Mitchell, as director of Perfecto Mobile’s APAC division will be leading the push into Australia, where he told ZDNet mobile apps are being released by companies more frequently.
Perfecto Mobile will introduce its services to Australia soon
Gary Mitchell is quoted as saying:
“The organisations that have business class mobile apps are very much starting to move to a higher release frequency, so less mature organisations may have a six-month release. Now the market is driving organisations here in Australia to be release quarterly, if not monthly.”
He went on to say Australia is also “Focused on adopting and driving automation,” and understands the need to test on real devices to have a good quality mobile app.” This will coincide with the launch of Perfecto Mobile’s Continuous Quality Lab, a cloud-based app test facility for developers.
