The 2016 Global Top Round game development accelerator program is now open. Developers can submit their apps to the company, and should they be accepted, expect to receive total investment and support worth up to around $100,000.
Studios that win support from Global Top Round are in the running for up to $90,000 in direct investment, with the potential to also get $10,000 in marketing support. In return, Global Top Round asks for studio equity and 10% of revenue once the game surpasses $200,000.

Peter Van Dyke, Global Top Round’s director, said:
“In today’s crowded market, oftentimes startups are only as valuable as their liquid assets and revenue from their last game. Our goal is to help 10 brilliant developers gain initial momentum to fund development of their debut game and future project while growing the value of the company to ensure a sustainable creative future.”
Financial benefits are only part of the deal, and winners will have the chance to work with mentors, see marketing data, make connections with publishers, and find further support for fundraising and investor relations.
Developers can submit apps between now and June 24, and 20 teams will be selected to visit the GTR Conference in August, where the final ten will be selected. Learn more, and find where to submit your app — which must be more than 60% complete to be eligible — by visiting this website.
