Sony has launched its PlayStation Vue livestreaming television service on the dedicated TV App for the Apple TV, the iPhone, and the iPad. Existing subscribers can immediately activate the service, or those wanting to try it out can start a free trial.

It’s one of the first apps to launch on Apple’s TV app that doesn’t solely show content from a single content source. PlayStation Vue shows live content taken from various different networks and providers.

In a tweet, Apple writes:

“Welcome to the Apple TV app, PlayStation Vue. With a seamless experience and features like Watch Now and Up Next, you will never miss an episode of live game.”

Previously, the PS Vue app was required to watch Vue content on an Apple device. The Apple TV App has more than 100 content partners, and viewing can start on one device and continue on another. PlayStation Vue is currently only available in the United States.
