Mobile app intelligence platform Crittercism has added hybrid app support, helping developers and businesses take advantage of hybrid apps, but without sacrificing detailed reports and monitoring systems associated with dedicated native apps.

Crittercism shows why hybrid apps are desirable to business, and now supports them in its intelligence platform

Because hybrid apps have both native and web elements, it can be difficult to keep track of issues and crashes, and resolving problems can take longer than usual. By integrating hybrid app support, Crittercism’s platform now provides crash reports, exception handling, API monitoring, and more.

The company says only a few lines of code need to be added to enable the new features, and although only an iOS version is currently available, an Android product is coming soon. All the details on how to add hybrid app support can be found in the SDK installation documents here. To learn more about Crittercism, visit its company profile here.
