The new hires are part of Quixey’s rapid plan for expansion and strategic partnerships. With over 300 employees across four global offices, the company has attracted some of the industry’s top engineering and technical talent to build its patented technology.

Tomer Kagan, Co-founder and CEO, Quixey, says:

“From day one, our mission has been to connect people to apps and apps to people, and over the last five years we’ve been laser-focused on perfecting our technology to fulfill that mission. As we prepare for our next phase of growth, the breadth of experience Sudhir, Roy, Scott, Taher, and Gary bring to our executive team will be invaluable. We look forward to unveiling more details soon about what we’ve been working on with our technology and how we expect it to change the way we all experience mobile in the future.”

Sudhir Mohan has spent two years at Quixey as EVP of Engineering and has 25 years of software product development under his belt. As CTO, he will develop new systems, scale the hosted solution infrastructure and drive strategic product innovation.

Roy Rong joins the company from UCWeb, where he helped the company to merge with Alibaba Group Holdings Limited in the biggest merger transaction in China’s Internet space at that time. At Quixey, his main focus will be the development and execution of short and long-term financial goals for the company.

Scott Samson was previously Head of PR at Criteo and will be responsible for leading Quixey’s global communications programme, which includes branding, marketing as well as PR.

Taher Savliwala was a Senior Director at the company and has been promoted to focus on strategic aspects of building, monetising and securing the company’s intellectual property. Prior to Quixey, he was a strategic consultant for law firms and companies.

Gary Liew will oversee operational and strategic challenges across the company in his new role as Chief of Staff. He joined Quixey in 2013 and has since taken on roles of Head of Developer Network and Director of Strategy & Operations.
