YouTube now lets users share videos via its own mobile messaging tool

YouTube has launched a range of new mobile app sharing features that make it easier to share videos via mobile messaging.
The tool lets users share videos directly with friends and family to engage more directly via YouTube’s mobile app. As part of the new functionality, users can chat, reply and invite others to take part in the conversation.
Here’s how it works:

The feature is easy to use and ultimately designed to drive content engagement on YouTube.
With 71% of teenagers now spending most of their mobile time watching videos, sharing these experiences seems like a good opportunity for YouTube to boost its engagements.

Though the latest addition does not yet include an option to block users from conversations, it should make instant sharing a little easier.
Originally, the company tested the feature last year and has since rolled it out worldwide across its Android and iOS apps.
