Supersonic by ironSource, the mobile ad and app marketing firm, today announced the integration with mobile ad and discovery platform, InMobi, as a network partner of its SSP. The partnership enables publishers to tap into Supersonic’s Mediation SDK and leverage InMobi as a demand source to increase the competitiveness of their video inventory. This ultimately maximises global fill rates and eCPMs.

According to eMarketer, US mobile video ad spend is projected to reach $3.94bn in spend this year, growing more than 50%. By 2017, spending is to rise to $5.09bn. Marketers have been fast to note the benefits of mobile video ads, including increased brand awareness and higher engagement rates.
