Rubicon Project expands global revenue operations

Rubicon Project, the open ad marketplace, has announced the senior leadership additions of Harry Patz as Chief Revenue Officer and Rob Deichert as its Head of Global Revenue Operations. Both form part of Rubicon Project’s efforts to continue rapid growth worldwide.

The news follow a record 2015, surpassing over $1bn in managed revenue, a positive net income and doubled GAAP revenue as well as a 400% increase in non-GAAP earnings per share.

In his role as CRO, Patz will manage the development and execution of a global cross-company integrated revenue programme to support the overall business plans and strategic objectives of the company. He leads a newly established global revenue team which includes a sales execution and strategy team to manage worldwide accounts.
He joins Rubicon with over 20 years of experience at Microsoft where he led a team of 300 sales professionals, doubling the firm’s Communication Sector to $1bn in total revenue. Following Microsoft, he joined mobile marketer Velti as CRO.

Rob Deichert will be in charge of revenue and sales ad operations as Head of Global Revenue Operations. He joins Rubicon Project after 15 years of experience in the digital ad space. More recently, he served as Managing Director of Criteo’s North American Operations. There he drove triple-digit growth rates in the business. Prior to Criteo, he served as Global GM and SVP of Business Operations at Tribal Fusion.
