Described as a real-world exploration game, Questo allows users to explore cities by following clues and solving challenges to find out hidden stories about locations. The iOS and Android apps currently feature over 100 available ‘quests’ created by a growing network of local content creators.

The startup did not disclosed how much it raised but said the round values the company at $1.5 million. The funding will allow Questo to expand to some of the largest cities in the world including London, New York, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona.
