PapayaMobile has expanded its European team and opened-up a new office in London’s Tech City.
The app distribution specialist, which operates the AppFlood platform, has also appointed two new executives to facilitate the expansion. Former Mojiva exec Rob Kelly joins the team as director of business development, while Paypaya’s Chu Wei moves from Beijing offices to take on the position of technical account manager.
Papaya says it wants to expand its UK presence in order to increase visibility in the European market and support its growing customer base. The new office will also enable existing AppFlood clients to extend local capabilities to global campaigns.
Chris Hanage, PapayaMobile’s GM for Europe, said:
“2014 is set to be a busy year for our AppFlood business, so it’s important that our UK operations can scale to meet the demand we’re seeing, both now and in the future. Our new office in Tech City puts us at the heart of the UK’s digital and creative scene, and I’m delighted to add the experience and expertise of Rob and Chu Wei to our growing team.”
It’s certainly good to see Paypaya setting-up shop in Tech City and expanding its European footprint. The company has enjoyed a great deal of success after it decided to focus on transparent cross-promotion with the AppFlood platform, and this latest expansion further demonstrates that the app promotion industry is gaining steam.
