Mobile app performance company PacketZoom today announced that it has partnered with Amazon CloudFront to include CloudFront as part of the PacketZoom Mobile Expresslane service.
As part of the solution, it provides mobile app developers with a mobile platform that offers a variety of tools for their network performance needs.
The company’s Mobile Expresslane technology helps to boost mobile app speed by up to 3x. It rescues up to 90% of network disconnects for mobile app publishers including Glu, Sephora, Photofy, Upwork and others.
PacketZoom says the way it can help to improve the user experience on mobile apps is by eliminating the performance roadblocks. The mobile platform offers a complete, end-to-end product suite for Mobile App Performance Management and Optimization (APMO).
Meanwhile, the Amazon Cloudfront Web CDN has the largest market share among mobile app publishers. It helps to deliver content through optimization in the middle mile.
By partnering with PacketZoom’s mobile mile acceleration, customers are getting an even better mobile app delivery solution.
Among some of its customers which are already trialing Amazon Cloudfront are Glu Mobile, Upwork, Photofy (US), Perfect Corp (Asia), and Belcorp (Latin America).
Shlomi Gian, CEO at PacketZoom, said:
“We are excited to offer the best of both worlds: Amazon CloudFront – the most popular Web CDN among mobile developers – along with PacketZoom Mobile Expresslane — the leading mobile app acceleration solution. It’s been a natural product evolution for us, since many of our customers are already using Cloudfront.”
