PacketZoom’s technology speeds up content delivery, and the new funding will be used to bring its app optimisation techniques to different markets, and the company is specifically targeting games, media, retail, and travel.

Shlomi Gian continued:

“If an app performs poorly users don’t blame the mobile network where 70 per cent of latency resides, they just abandon the app. With PacketZoom technology mobile apps enjoy unprecedented speed and reliability and that translates into improved user retention and engagement for our customers.”

First Round Capital and Baseline Ventures both led the funding round. To learn more about PacketZoom, visit its website here.
