MobileTraffic is a mobile apps marketing platform based in the heart of Europe: Berlin, Germany. We provide mobile strategies and plan mobile campaigns for international advertisers who are seeking to gain loyal users for their products
What types of clients do you work with?
We work with app and game developers. We also work with mobile marketing agencies from all over the world.
Which geographic regions do you focus on? Where are you seeing the most growth?
We are focused on Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Russia, The United States, Canada, Latin America, and Asia. We are seeing the fastest growth in Asia and Latin America.
What are your main tips for successful app marketing?
We are currently working on the definitive app marketing strategy guide. We’ll release it to global mobile marketing community by the end of the spring.
What big trends do you see in the world of mobile advertising in 2015?

  1. Apps will be increasingly unbundled. Instead of seeing standalone apps users install on their phones as one standalone software unit, users will be able to access content and functionality separate from app packages. These functionalities and content bases will be spread among different app bundles using APIs. This produces a more robust and customized experience for end users. They aren’t stuck with a bundle that may only have one core feature they want. This trend also points the way to a truly personalized app system where each app you install is a patchwork of different functionalities that focus on your specific needs. App marketing will continue to morph its offerings and implementations to reflect this trend.
  2. Industry Consolidation. As app consumers get tired of the same old app install marketing methods, expect a lot of consolidation in the industry as ‘one trick pony’ operations get rolled up into bigger ad platforms with wider reach and deeper capital infrastructure.
  3. Increased native advertising. Native advertising has been shown to work and more and more advertisers will jump on this trend as success metrics deliver even more sharply defined results.

What mobile devices do you use?
We personally use all Apple devices. We believe iOS-based devices are the best in terms of quality and UI.
What are your favourite apps?
Instagram. A picture, after all, is worth a thousand words. Instagram enables people to tell really compelling stories about the things they consider important in their world-with minimal effort. Instagram’s app offers this powerful content ecosystem which provides a truly deep experience.
Are you going to buy an Apple Watch?
Yes. But I’ll probably hold off on the Gold edition.
