In addition, the company has just rolled out its first iOS SDK management platform after successfully integrating its iOS beta for mobile devices. The Android solution is already up and running since 2015.
The company says that it will use the funds to scale operations and hire new talent to expand across the US market.
Ronnie Sternberg, SafeDK’s Co-founder and VP Business Development, explains:

“Our suite of solutions has helped Android mobile developers across the globe ensure that the performance, stability and privacy of their apps are not compromised. Now we are looking to emulate that success to the important iOS development community and expand our activity to new verticals. SafeDK has already proved invaluable in helping to avoid millions of crashes, excessive battery consumption issues as well as privacy breaches, all in production apps.”

SafeDK was founded in 2014 and offers real-time SDKs visibility and control features as well as a Marketplace for SDKs for mobile apps and business intelligence tools. The company has seen large growth since its inception.
Eyal Miller, General Manager at Samsung Next Tel Aviv, agrees:

“SafeDK technology provides unprecedented accountability and control to mobile developers and increases privacy and security. A solution that improves the quality of apps can only help to make the work of mobile developers and publishers better.”

Whilst a lot of mobile apps tap into 3rd party SDKs to add functions such as advertising, analytics and social, they experience a variety of malfunctions across their apps such as slow-downs, crashes or excessive battery consumption. App publishers and integrate SafeDK straight into their development environment to ensure to it ties right in and doesn’t disrupt the app’s functions. This lets publishers gain a clear picture and control over their real-time behavior of their SDKs allowing them to view live SDK issues and statistics as well as turn privacy permissions on and off or deactivate problematic SDK.
However, the best bit about SafeDK is the ability to update an entire app’s SDK configuration with a click of a button. Changes are auto-saved and users can stay up to date on any issues with the SDK.
Tal Slobodkin, Managing Partner at StageOne Ventures, says:

“SafeDK’s unique solution provides real value to mobile developers and publishers alike by thwarting the underlying causes of most app crashes and glitches. We have been working very closely with Orly and Ronnie and are pleased by the company’s progress. The opportunities that this financing round presents are tremendously exciting.”
