On December 6, 2016 Mobile Monetization Summit in Tel-Aviv beat its previous record of attendances and welcomed more than 2,000 people from Europe, North America and Asia.
Our own Evi Missa attended the event and here is what she has to report.
Among prominent attendees there were such well-established mobile advertising market companies as Performance Revenues, Clickky, Mobupps, Appsflyer, Amonetize, Appnext, Zorka.mobi, Tapgerine, Offerseven, Mobusi.
Mobile Monetization Summit Tel Aviv 2016
The expo floor was really busy, with lots of exchanging traffic discussions happening in real time.
There were many interesting speakers in the agenda, like Daniel Kahtan from AppsFlyer who spoke about Mobile ad fraud, Ido Iungelson from Viber who spoke about monetizing on messengers, as well as Claudia Dreier from Calldorado who spoke about overcoming the problem of app monetization and engagement.
Quite popular talk was by Oren Boiman from Magisto who spoke about Consumer and business video storytelling and monetization.
I shouldn’t forget to mention Ofir Leitner, the Founder of the Israel Mobile Summit, who was moderating the whole agenda, and also that among the speakers were investors, entrepreneurs & partners, as well as consultants & accelerators.
In addition the panels were very engaging. The best were:
- Mobile advertising-lessons learned in 2016 (365Scores, Scoompa, Shpock Ap, Calldorado, Smaato)
- Combating ad blockers and fraudsters (mHealth Israel, Amonetize, Spyke Media, Mobupps, GeoEdge)
- Getting high quality users (Eyal Dror, HolidayPirates, Zorka.Mobi, Performance Revenues, Appnext)
Finally I should say that there were meeting rooms for the attendees, where we could speak one-on-one and get introduced to companies and strike deals.
Overall it was busy, big crowd and a multicultural audience. Excellent venue and organization as a whole. And you can’t beat the city of Tel Aviv, that is very profitable place to do business.
