Sviper is the work of Ole Schaper, Mark Buchholz, and Micheal Reichert, all of whom have considerable experience in the games industry. The studio will work on games it describes as having, “fast and simple skill-based core mechanics,” and deep progression systems, according to VentureBeat, which first reported the funding.

The intention is to use the funding to hire new developers and other staff, expand operations, and most importantly launch its first title, which is named Wild City Rush: Urban Jungle Adventure. It’s coming to both iOS and Android.
