Mobile app marketing platform AppLift is expanding its presence in Asia by opening three new offices in Beijing, Tokyo, and Delhi. It’s ready to capitalize on the considerable growth expected in the region, where according to research, the amount spent on mobile advertising will rise by 62% during the coming year. AppLift already has an established office in Seoul, along with one in San Francisco and in Berlin.
Stephen Chung, AppLift’s MD for the Asia Pacific region, said:
“Since we launched our first Asian office in May 2013, we have witnessed the tremendous growth of the APAC region, and over the last two years we managed to benefit from this opportunity substantially. Having a strong client base in China, Japan, and India already, it was only natural to open physical offices there in order to better service our existing partners and establish new partnerships.”
Without releasing specific numbers, AppLift says it has seen revenue increase by three times in Asia year-on-year. Previously focused exclusively on gaming, AppLift acquired Appiris earlier this year, allowing it to move into marketing for apps of other genres. In support of this, AppLift has announced Ben Weinstock as its new VP of Publisher Growth.
Tim Koschella, CEO and co-founder of AppLift, welcomed Ben to the team saying:
“Expanding to new markets to scale our global business relationships brings its challenges. Ben has extensive experience in managing and growing sustainable relations with supply partners across the industry and will be a strong addition to our team. With him on board, we are assured to offer the best and widest array of quality traffic sources to our app advertisers, in APAC and in all other regions.”
