Gamescom is considered the largest European trade fair in the gaming industry. In 2017, it brought together over 300,000 visitors and over 900 exhibitors, thus continuing the steady growth-path it has been on since 2009. This year, Gamescom is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and the 2018 edition is expected to be bigger than ever, crossing the 1,000 exhibitors mark.

Some of the topics on the agenda include: global gaming trends, the latest products in the field, marketing challenges for game developers, cutting-edge technologies, and more. The venue of the conference will be divided into two zones: an entertainment area open for public audience and a separate business area for industry experts: insiders, traders, publishers and developers.

Gaming remains one of the fastest growing business verticals and one of top focus areas in the advertising sphere, so for the Appness team, Cologne has always been the place-to-be at the end of summer. Happy to announce that we’ll be attending the Gamescom conference from 21 to 23 August!
