Localytics has been acquired by Upland Software for $68 million

Mobile app monetisation and analytics solution provider Localytics has been acquired by Upland Software, a specialist focusing on cloud-based enterprise software, for a total of $67.7 million.

According to Upland Software, the acquisition will add $20 million in annual revenues.

Localytics solutions provide insights into in-app consumer behaviour.

Consumer interactions that are supported include push applications, in-app functions and remarketing efforts.

“It is now vital for brands to deliver seamless, highly-personalized, mobile-focused experiences at key customer touchpoints,” said Jack McDonald, the CEO of Upland Software. “The addition of Localytics to our CXM Cloud offering now allows us to offer sophisticated mobile personalization at scale.Our acquisition pipeline remains robust, and we are actively pursuing additional opportunities to build out our cloud offerings.”

The company plan to utilise Localytics’ mobile app marketing solution to expand its consumer touchpoints and provide clients with more insights on consumer behaviour.
