Lenslist launches database of AR effects and Lenses for Facebook and Snapchat marketers

Lenses are among the most popular advertising formats on social app Snapchat with 70 million of Snapchat users now engaging with Lenses daily. Indeed, Snap just last week added a Shoppable Augmented Reality (AR) feature for its Lenses that adds buttons to link users back to a product or brand’s website.
Now Lenslist, a company that provides Snapchat Lenses and Facebook camera effects has launched a large catalogue of AR effects for brands to use.
The company basically catalouges the AR effects and lenses in a single place for brands and advertisers to use and seek inspiration from. Pawel Jarco, the creator and CEO of the company said:

“70 million daily active users on Snapchat proves that this audience is ripe for novel ways of having fun and connecting with friends. Also, both Snapchat and Facebook have unlocked an utterly new galaxy for brands. We jumped on the AR wagon early on, but searching for any meaningful Camera Effect or Lens was quite a challenge. So we solved it.”

The database includes 2,500 AR effects with the list continuing to grow.
Lenslist has been created by the Lens That agency team – creators of AR effects for Facebook and Snapchat. Jarco adds:

“We learned a lot from AR’s experts on Facebook Discussion Groups, so we decided to share our tool as Lenslist to a broader audience. We wanted to make ad-tech, and media people lives a bit easier.”

Lenslist also includes a section on marketing tips, resources, AR tips and best practices. The Snapcodes section includes a set of codes to unlock effects from various Lens Studio creators.
