Kargo bolsters programmatic commitment by hiring Adam Irlando as VP Programmatic

Kargo, the mobile brand advertising company, has announced Adam Irlando as new Vice President, Programmatic. Irlando will be based at Kargo’s New York office and focus on growing the company’s programmatic business in the Eastern market.
He says:

“Kargo tapped into a huge growth area in the mobile programmatic space by offering clients high quality ad creative that can be placed in premium content in real-time at scale. I’m excited to join the team that’s helping revolutionize mobile marketing.”

A digital media industry veteran, he joins with over a decade of experience working with the likes of The New York Times and Tronc’s Spanfeller Media Group. In his last role he served as Vice President of Client Engagement at Xaxis, the GroupM-owned programmatic media firm.
Ed Carey, Kargo’s Executive Vice President of National Sales, whom Irlando will report to, says:

“Kargo’s programmatic business has grown incredibly fast, so we’re fortunate to have Adam to help us continue this momentum.”

Programmatic revenue at Kargo is expected to increase by 400% during the first half of 2017 compared to the previous year. Irlando will be the second VP of Programmatic after Justin Maggio joined Kargo in May.
