iHeartMedia launches dedicated ad platform for podcast advertisers

iHeartMedia, which owns several radio stations in the US, has just launched a custom ad network which caters specifically to podcast marketers.

The newly launched iHeartPodcast AdSuite will be offering clients a choice of various ad formats and customisation tools.

Among them, it provides Podfluencer ads which are messages read by hosts. The Storyteller ads are specifically for branded series and custom episodes.

It also provides targeting tools that won’t interfere with the listener experience.

The platform will include dynamic and streaming ad insertion (DSAI) and local ad insertion (LAI) for better targeting.

iHeartMedia promises that advertisers can even customise their audiences in real-time.

For advertisers looking to make a bigger impact, TakeOver ad formats will be placed first in a podcast.

The iHeartMedia AdSuite Insights analyses podcast listener data such as audience profiles and engagement metrics.
