GameRefinery, the game and market analytics tool provider, just announced that it acquired Reflection.io in a bid to boost its revenue and downloads data.
Reflection.io provides market insights for app developers. Its clients have included Sky, BBC, Square Enix, Miniclip and Sega, among others.
The company’s flagship product is an app store data platform that focuses on revenue and download data since 2013.
GameRefinery plans to integrate this data to bolster its own datasets.
Based on statistical algorithms to predict revenue in combination with download figures, Reflection.io does provide some useful insights for mobile game publishers.
The move will extend GameRefinery’s revenue and download data for iOS and Android to 35 markets. It provides app marketers and publishers with actionable data connected to monetisation.
In a blog post, GameRefinery CEO Markus Råmark said:
“The plan is to incorporate Reflection.io’s capabilities into the GameRefinery portal over the coming months. In the meantime, the current platform will remain fully operational and accessible to existing customers at www.reflection.io. As our plans develop in the coming months, we’ll keep you informed about the exact schedule to make sure that you know how the integration project is proceeding.”
The integration won’t affect pricing for existing GameRefinery clients. The company plans to integrate the new features and tools gradually over the coming months.
