Webpals Mobile, the mobile app user acquisition and monetisation company, has been acquired by ad-tech solutions provider Edge226.

Webpals Mobile is formerly known as DAU-UP ClicksMob. It is a Google App preferred creative partner and a Facebook marketing partner.

Avishay Raviv, co-CEO of Edge226, said that Webpals Mobile provides “unique knowledge of mobile social marketing”, making it an attractive addition.

“The combination of our performance-driven DSP and Webpals Mobile’s social marketing excellence aims to answer one of mobile’s biggest challenges– high quality user acquisition for app developers, at scale,” he added.

Following the acquisition, Edge226 will become an official partner of the Facebook and Google marketing programmes.

Edge226 provides end-to-end solutions for mobile advertisers, app developers and agencies such as app installs and creative studio assets. It provides a DSP with a transparent supply chain.

“Besides the product and tech advantages, we have found an experienced team with true proficiency in the mobile app install markets. We anticipate that this acquisition will offer our current clients an enhanced set of elite services and solutions, and allow us to reach new clients that will benefit from our best-in-class solutions,” said Yoav, Co-CEO of Edge226.

As part of the acquisition, the companies will be combined extending Edge226’s reach to the APAC region.
